Globe, artificial turf, gunpowder, 3D printed house

I created this souvenir using a house with the U.S flag on the porch, to recreate a typical middle-class neighborhood environment. Using gunpowder rather than snow or glitter, the globe became the most synthetic way to talk about the phenomenon of gun conflict here in the States. This is an interactive piece, when agitated, the gunpowder invades all of the space, creating a blurry and obscure environment. After I bought the gunpowder over the Internet, two agents came to my door asking questions. They left the card that I show with the piece.
